I teach the 3rd grade SPE Inclusion Class. We had already did the angle unit. However, the students were still struggling with angles. I used popsicle sticks and let the students create the type of angle that I called out. At first they struggled with it but after awhile they understood. They really enjoyed doing the activity. The concrete,hands on activity seemed to really help them understand the concept.
Next year I plan on using this activity in a center when I am teaching the unit.
